08-01-2010 - My opinion
I would like the finish my weblog with my personal view on all the beer brands and their marketing strategies. I like the marketing aspects of Corona the most. Their mission to give the drinker a 'holiday feeling' works. If I drink a Corona I always have the feeling that I'm on holiday and that it will be a great evening. And the taste of a Corona beer is in my opinion the best but then I have to say that I have never tried a Guinness beer. I think that it is also important that you have a good segment to sell your product. And i think that all of these companies have looking for their best segments. The most football supporters are beer drinkers so I think it's a good decision to be a sponsor of a football club or a footbal event. The most commercials are also aimed to the potential purchasers. They can recognise themself in the commercials, of like the commercial and that is the most important marketing strategie. Find purchasers and bind them to your company.
This was my web-log about the marketing aspects of some beer brand.
I hope you enjoyed.

08-01-2010 - Conclusion
In this piece of my weblog I will give a conclusion. And in my next weblog article I will give my personal view on all the beers I have spoke about and offcourse also about their marketing aspects. My conclusion is that all of these marketing strategies works very well. But that is a logical conclusion because I have only chose big companies for my weblog. And if you use companies like i did it's not surprising that they all have a great marketing strategie. Beacause, if they didn't have a good marketing strategie the won 't be a great company as they are rught now. I can conclude that commercials and strongh slogans are most important for a beer company. And beeing a sponsor of a event or sportteam can also be handy. The image of a beercompanie is very important and if your image is not good enough you sell much less product than when your image is positive. Al of the companies have a good image or where busy to work at their image. And their funny commercials, great taste and strongh slogans are the most important factors for a good image.

08-01-2010 - Guinness Beer
Guinness is the next beer brand I will write something about. Guiness is a very famous beer brand in Ireland. And this beer brand is also from origin brewed in Ireland. It look likes a black beer bud if you ask the producers of this beer they will tell you that it's not black but 'ruby red'. And if you put your classes with Guinness in the sunlight you can see dat it's not black bud ruby red. Since the establishment in 1759 Guinness was a very important company in Dublin for the employment. And in 1930 was 10% of the men in Dublin dependent of the brewery. Guinness is a world wide beer brand and you can put it in the category special beer. The marketing strategie of Guinness is almost the same as the marketing strategie of Budweiser. It's a very staditional beer and the composition is never changed. It's a expensive beer but also a very special beer and that's the reason why many people buy it. A funny fact is that Guinness also the founder is of the Guinness Book of Records. It started as a small book, to have someting to talk about with other people in a Pub while you where drinking a Guinness beer!

08-01-2010 - The special taste of a Corona
My next weblog article is about the Mexican Beer brand Corona. Also This beer brand has two differnte names. All over the world it's known as Corona. But onlu in Spanisch-speaking countries they will call it Coronita. That gives a little "Spaninsc taste" to the official name. Corona comes from the Mexican beer brewery Grupo Modelo. You can buy a Corona also allmost in every countru because it's a very international beer brand. Corona has the image of a "Holidag Beer" And i will explane that to you because I think it's nog clear for everybody. The image of a Corona is a beer that you will take when you're relaxed. When you are on the beach with some friends, when the sun is shining and when your holiday just started. This is also what Corona want because many people will associate a Corona with Holiday, nice times or a hot summer with friends on the beacy. If many people associate Corona with times they enjoyed, than people will buy it beceause they great in the during the Holiday. The taste of a Corona and the website of Corona is perfect to greate this feeling to the people. Just for the fun, you have to take a look at this special site of Corona.
They created a beach, and if you close my eyes, I imagine that i'm there.
http://www.thecoronabeach.com/ is the website and it's just for the fun but really typical for Corona. And the taste of a Corona is very different than the taste of a normal beer. People drink a Corona with a Lemon in the top of the bottle what gives a very fresh taste.. And in my opinion are all these things together that what gives you the special summer feeling.

08-01-2010 - Budweiser beer
Anheuses-Busch is the creator of Budweiser beer. A very big Czechian beer brand. They have 50 % of the American beer market and are also the biggist Beer brand in the UK and Canada. Anheuser-Busch use humorous advertising campaigs to promote Budweiser. Most of all on the radio and television commercials for Bud Light. The light beer is a alternative for normal beer and is very popular in the United States of America. Some of the Budweiser advertising campaigns have entered the popular culture in the Uniterd States. They include a long line of TV advertisiments that became very popular in the the 1990s in the United States. This TV advertisements featuring three frogs named "Bud", "Weis", and "Er" and this was a huge hit! Anheuser-Busch is known for its sport sponsorship, video game sponsorship, and humorous advertisements. And budweiser is also know for this campaigns because their are a part of Anheuser-Busch. Further is Budweiser a unchanged brand, the bottle and the taste of Budweiser is still exactly the same as when they introduced the beer in 1895. Their is, like I told before, a light alternative, but the origional Budweiser is still unchanged.

08-01-2010 - Amtel, our Beer
I have allready spoken about Heineken and Bavaria. So I also want to tell someting about the 3rd big Dutch Beer brand. I think that allmost everybody now about which company I talk about. It's Amstel, not so big as Heineken, Carlsberg or Corona on the international markt bud still a very big Beer company. So that's the reason that I also will tell someting about Amstel and special about their marketing strategie. Amstel associates themself, just like Carlsberg, with football. They were one of the biggest sponsors of the Uefa Champions Leauge. And there are many examples of Amstel commercials about Football. A few years ago, there were three guys in they always came back in the Amstel reclames. At that moment, Amstel was a great succes. Bud also without these guys Amstel still make some good commercials. The last commercial is one about the WK-Football in South-Africa. But sponsoring and things like that is not only for Football, Amstel is also the most important sponsor of the: "Vrienden van Amstel Live" concerts. This is a popmusic concert but it is also very easy to couple this to drinking beer. Amstel tries to preserve the position they have now on the markt with investing on smart sponsor contracts and funny commercials. Amstel is beer for the normal people, not very eccentric of something like that. So the slogan: "Ons bier" shows also that Amstel will be a normal beer brand for everybody.

08-01-2010 - The New Image of Bavaria
The next beer band I 'll tell you something about is Bavaria. This is also a Dutch Company, but the Netherlands have some great beer brands. I have told you about Heineken but you can also think about Amstel of Bavaria. Now i will tell you someting about the marketing strategie van Bavaria because there are some problems with the image of Bavaria. In the Netherlands the most people drinkes Heineken Pilsener. Heineken is the biggest, but also in the opinions of many people the best beer in The Netherlands. Bavaria always come after Heineken and that is not always easy. And also Amstel is a very big company in the Netherlands so Bavaria has to be special if they will have a good markt position. Untill a few months ago Bavaria was not a great succes becease their price was a little bit to high for the quality in the eyes of the consumers. And their commercials were not strong enough to beat Heineken and Amstel. But sinds the last few months Bavaria has tried it on a other way. Their new bottles and beer crates are blue and not the standard green colour anymore. If i'm in a supermarket and I see maney beer crats, the new crates of Bavaria are always verry striking. And if you like the colour of if you doesn't like it everybody see them and the reputation of Bavaria get a new boost! And the slogan of Bavaria is still great. The official slogan in Dutch is: "Zo, nu eerst een Bavaria"

08-01-2010 - The marketing aspect of Carlsberg 2
But this is not everything about Carlsberg. They do much more about marketing. And in my opinion there are some interesting things I would like to tell you something more about. So that’s the reason that I took Carlsberg again for my 5th weblogpiece. I think that Carlsberg made a great decision when they became sponsor of a Football club. And i’m going to try to explane why. Carlsberg is the most important sponsor of Liverpool Footbal Club.
Liverpool FC is a club with a fantastic history and very loyal supporters. If Engelish people chose a football club they will almost never give it up. Like I said, English people are very loyal to their Football Club and specialy Liverpool supporters.
Carlsberg has made a great dicision to become sponsor of this Football club. Because at this manner they reach a very important segment of their consumers. Englisch people have the name to drink very much beer, but soccer supporters also. And these segments are served both at this manner.
And specialy Liverpool supporters are very loyal supporters. And when they are loyal to the club they also will be loyal to the biggest sponsor of the club. But this could also have a negative fluence. Because some other loyal football supporters of other clubs maybe won’t buy Carlsberg anymore.
The last thing that I’ll tell you about Carslberg is their slogan, because I think it’s a great slogan.
Their slogan is: Carlsberg probably the best Beer in the world. If you heard it, you are going to think about is. If you once with it or not.

08-01-2010 - Carlsberg. What is it and what is their marketing stategie
The next beer company that i’ll tell you something about is Carlsberg. This is a Danish beer company but they have establishments in 50 countries all over the world. They make a lott of promotion, commercials and things like that for their company. Just like Heineken and allmost every big company in the world. But they have a very special marketing aspect. If you compare this with other beerbrands it’s unique. The special thing off this brand is that they bring their product on the market with different names. Carlsberg is their most important brand, and they sell it in a few countries. But for many countries the have considered a other name for the same beer. And this is only because Carlsberg isn’t a very easy name for everybody. So they changed the name in some countries. Here some examples;
- Carlsberg Export UK
- Holsten
Germany
- Koff Finland
- Kronenbourg France
In my opinion it’s a good possibility that they in this way sell much more beer than they normaly will do with their own name. The beer “feels” more from your own country when they have considered the name specialy for your country. And I think that some people will buy it more. That it could also have a negative influence. They products with others names doesn’t have any reputation at the beginning while many people know the company Carlsberg.

08-01-2010 - Contemporary marketing aspects of Heineken Now they understand how important it could be to have a good marketing strategie. They first “slogan” with the laughing e were considered by Freddy Heineken. He was the founder of the big beer company and made the company big. Big Freddy Heineken isn’t a marketing expert. For a good slogan or attractive commercials he realised that they need the aid of a commercial company. And finally they find a good match with Martin Veldman and Peter Knegjens. These men considered many of the popular Heineken slogans who stimulate the public to drink a Heineken beer. The most popular example of Heineken slogans are in the Netherlands: “Heerlijk, Helden, Heineken”, and “Biertje?” The most popular world wide slogan is the current slogan of Heineken. The slogan is: Heineken, surving the planet. And Heineken had also a few commercials with some celebrity, like Jennifer Aniston. If famous people drink Heineken beer, they can stimulate the “normal” people to drink it also. But marketing strategies is not only about a good commercial or a nice slogan. You also have to sell your product on places where people will buy it. A great example is the Heineken ligt pilsener. This product was introduced on in the Dutch supermarkets but was also introduced in the United States of America becaude marketing experts fought that “the American” wants this product. And it works; the light beer was a great succes! So you can see that not only commercials and slogans but also offering your product in the current place can be consume.

08-01-2010 - The beginning of marketing at one of the biggest Beer companies in the world.
I’ll start my weblog about marketing strategies with one of the biggest Beer brands in the world. Allmost everybody know this company because they sell their products in about 150 coutries all over the world. And i’m, and with me almost everybody in The Netherlands, proud that this is a Dutch company. I think that you know where i’m talking about. The company that I will treat for my first weblogmessage is Heikenen.
First i’ll introduce the company a little bit and after that i’ll talk about the marketing aspects of Heineken.
Publicity and marketing is very important for a big company as Heineken. Every single company wants to be better or different than their competition. To bring about that it’s a very good start if you have a big reputation in your target group.
Also Heineken knows that a publicity and marketing is important to remain one of the biggest players in the World beer branche. They realised that approximately in 1940 and the First commercial was born.
The “laughing e” was in the forty’s and fifty’s characterising for Heineken and you saw it always on the bottles and slogans. When they saw the effect the realised how important marketing could be!
